About TCW

Based in New York and New Orleans, we work across strategy, identity, digital, motion, and creative technology to build brands made to live, adapt, and evolve. Everything we make is designed as part of a larger system, built to work together from the start.

The Power of TCW

1 / 5

Built Around a Focused Team.

We’ve intentionally kept our studio small. The people you meet are the people doing the work, with senior involvement from first conversation through final delivery. Fewer layers mean ideas move faster, collaboration stays direct, and nothing gets lost between thinking and making.

Small team doesn’t mean small work. We’ve helped shape companies that have grown from early-stage startups into billion-dollar businesses, and created systems behind millions of rides, billions of transactions, and hundreds of billions of minutes spent talking, watching, working, and connecting.

When a project calls for it, we bring in specialists we trust across motion, 3D, development, sound, photography, and production. A small core team, built to scale around the work.

Generative Systems

01. Define

We start by figuring out what actually matters: what needs to change, our audience, and where the opportunities are. From there, we build a clear point of view to guide everything that follows.

02. Direct

Strategy turns into ideas. We explore distinct identity directions, pushing each far enough to understand its potential and how it can grow into a larger brand system.

03. Design

We take the strongest ideas and build them into a complete system across identity, digital, motion, and beyond. We think through how the system behaves, not just how it looks, and give it enough flexibility to work in different ways.

04. Deliver

We build the tools, guidelines, and assets your team needs to put the system to work. Everything is designed for real-world use: consistent enough to stay recognizable, flexible enough to keep moving as the brand grows.

Careers

We’re looking for a Brand Designer who loves building identities and figuring out how they work beyond the logo.

We’re always excited to meet talented designers and make new friends. Even if we’re not hiring at the moment, we’d still love to hear from you.

Beyond the Studio

Sharing What We Know

We love any excuse to step away from the screen. We teach, give talks, write, host events, and find other ways to share what we've learned along the way.

We’ve taught at the School of Visual Arts for over a decade and spoken at design festivals, schools, studios, and organizations including The New York Times, Pentagram, Brand New, and The Design Conference Australia.

Whether we’re talking about building brands, running an independent studio, or showing work that didn’t quite go according to plan, we believe being part of the design community makes our own work better too.

Have an idea for something we could be part of? Let’s talk.
